Not much blogging lately, I know. Unfortunately, this won’t be a long one either as it’ll just be a holding post until I get more spare time to firstly be able to get out and do something exciting enough to blog on, and then to find the time to blog about it.
So, I arrived home this evening in time to catch the last bit of the John Bishop’s Australia programme on BBC One. John Bishop wasn’t nearly as interesting to me as seeing the sights of Australia once again. Seeing the Great Barrier Reef and Cape Tribulation on TV inevitably took me back to November last year, when I was off travelling on my own, feeling freaking awesome. It seems like such a long time ago now…which in fact, it is (!) as 8 months has passed since then. Crazy. Where’s the time gone?
Staying in London for too long a time period makes me antsy, so I’m really happy to announce that I’m going to be packing my backpack soon for a short trip across the Atlantic to Canada! I met a few friendly Canadians when I was travelling through Asia, and have heard great things about their national parks, so I’m really excited to get out there and participate in some outdoor activities.
I’ve got two weeks of coding bootcamp left (sad face), but as I’ll be leaving almost immediately after the course ends, I’ve got something to look forward to in that regards at least. If you’ve got some suggestions for me on what to visit in Calgary, Alberta, I’d love to hear it!
In the meantime, safe travels.
