A few weekends ago, I was lucky enough to witness history being made. We had gotten tickets to watch the World Indoor Athletics Championships, which was to be the last world championships for 2 athletic greats – Mo Farah and Usain Bolt. Against all expectations, neither of them won their races in the end, but it was still, most definitely, a day to remember. I can also say that I was there, the first time a UK men’s team won the 4x100m gold!
If you’ve never visited the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, I’d recommend it in the summer. It’s a lovely place to spend an afternoon in the sun, and also a rather inspirational place. I’ve posted below, some photos that show off some of the best aspects of the Park.
